So, you're planning on visiting Cambridge. A fantastic idea, as it really is very nice (unless it's raining, but there's nothing you're going to be able to do about that unfortunately - although Cambridge is the driest town in Britain). Do feel free to pop in and visit the Jewish society. We often have people joining us for shabbat meals, whether they be in Cambridge for a holiday, for business, or just to see what it's like. If you are planning on eating with us, we'd be delighted to have you, but would really appreciate it if you could drop Sirke, our Canteen Treasurer, a line via our Contact Page to let her know, so that we can be sure to have enough food. More information on getting hold of kosher food in Cambridge can be found on the food page. If you would like to come along to services and want to check out timings etc, have a look at the Orthodox and Progressive pages. They contain that sort of information, and also have contact details of relevant people if you would like any clarification. If you have any other questions at all, please feel free to drop us a line via our Contact Page and we'll do our best to answer. We look forward to meeting you! |
