Progressive Judaism in Cambridge

We are here to represent the interests of everyone in Cambridge who wants to keep in touch with a Progressive community. Our services are there for everyone who feels like coming - whether you define yourself as Liberal, Reform, Conservative, Masorti...or Orthodox, or under no label at all!

We have a very song-filled, relaxed, flexible and friendly Friday night service lasting about 45 mins, which is usually led by one of the students, although we also frequently invite Rabbis to lead services. Services are held in the Castlereagh Room, Fisher Building, St Johns, and start at 6pm.

We're also in contact with the local Reform Community, Beth Shalom, and once each term we organise a Student Shabbat, where Progressive students organise and lead a service at the synagogue.

In addition, we hold regular informal learning sessions on Shabbat afternoons, and any relevant talks, plays, visiting speakers or social events are also advertised ad hoc at the services or via the email list. Sign up here.

There's loads going on, and your Progressive reps, Ben and Ilan, check their email often so are guaranteed to get back to you if you want more information! Contact us via the Contact Page.
