Hey y'all, for those who don't know me, my name is Courtney Toretto and I am the director of the Culanu Centre here in Cambridge. I hail from Orange County California (yes, "The OC") where I graduated from University of California, Santa Barbara with a degree in international politics and history.

If you have yet to make it out my way, Culanu is a totally unique drop-in centre across from King's College, equipped with a big screen cable TV, wireless internet, a pool table, a comfy sofa and bean bags, a library, and a kitchen with an infinite supply of tea, crisps (chips for my American friends) and sweets.

During the week, swing by anytime between 12 and 4:30 for some cheap but yummy lunch, drinks, sweets, and fantastic company (not just me, but your friends as well). Culanu is here for you to hang out, read, watch TV, study, play some pool-whatever may tickle your fancy.

Friday night Onegs are from about 10:30 pm on; come to Culanu for lots of kosher fun! There are cocktails, biscuits, fruit, sweets, beer, and of course, Articulate and other such games. Oneg is simply a Hebrew word for party, and party is what Culanu knows how to do best!

Sunday mornings (or afternoons, depending on when you wake up), mosey on down to Culanu and join your friends for the popular Bagel Brunch.
From 11 am to 2 pm, munch on kosher bagels with cream cheese and smoked salmon, tuna, jam, coffee, tea, and lots of other goodies. M & Ms have even been known to make an appearance.

I know y'all have a lot on your plate this term with the dreaded exams. That is why during exam time, Culanu will have both study nights with midnight snacks (especially for those who don?t like the
library) and chill out nights where you can study, but you can also come relax and catch your breath for a bit. Otherwise, just keep track of the term planner and come on by and say hey!

Check out our sexy new website at www.culanu.org for more info on this and all our other activities this term.
